A chart is a pattern map, not a verdict.
Labels are cheap. Pattern recognition is valuable. Archetypal Astrology asks what a symbol makes possible—not what a person is doomed to become.
Archetypal Astrology reads planets, signs, houses, and cycles as symbolic patterns. The point is not to reduce a person to a type. The point is to recognize recurring tensions, gifts, defenses, and developmental invitations with more precision.
A useful chart expands agency. A careless reading shrinks it.
Why Carl Jung matters
Jung treated symbols as psychologically alive. His work on archetypes and synchronicity offers a serious frame for understanding why a chart can function as a mandala: an organized picture of tensions that belong to the whole psyche.
Why this matters for children
A child’s chart should never become a diagnosis, sentence, or excuse. Used ethically, it can help parents ask better questions about temperament, learning, sensitivity, autonomy, and family dynamics. The child remains a developing human being—not a prediction to manage.
The BAS standard
- No fear-based prophecy.
